Meet Dr. Fridman

Dr. David Fridman is a distinguished and highly skilled cardiologist and internal medicine doctor in Bergen County, NJ.

 

In addition to routine cardiac and medical care he specializes in the evaluation of chest pain, palpitations, blood pressure, cholesterol, congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, diseases of the aorta and valvular heart disease (heart murmurs) such as aortic stenosis and mitral regurgitation.


He has been awarded several honors and distinctions. His credentials include board certifications within the fields of Nuclear Cardiology by the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC), Echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography (NBE), Vascular Interpretation by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), ACC Level II Certification in Cardiovascular Imaging with Computed Tomography, in addition to board certification in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).

Dr. Fridman completed his undergraduate education at New York University where he graduated with honors. During this time he served as a research associate at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He went on to complete his medical degree at St. George's University and his residency, chief residency and fellowship at Northwell Health's North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center. While training, he authored several research protocols, publications and was awarded The Lawrence Scherr Scholarly Activity Award and Cardiology Teitelbaum Research Award for his commitment to excellence in research.
